What is Octocrylene Oil?
Octocrylene Oil is an organic, oil-soluble UV absorber that is insoluble in water and helps dissolve other oil-soluble solid sunscreens. It has the advantages of high absorption rate, non-toxic, non-teratogenic effect, good light and thermal stability, it can absorb UV-B and a small amount of UV-A, is a Class I sunscreen approved by the United States FDA, and has a high use rate in the United States and Europe.
