What is Diclazuril Powder?

Diclazuril Powder is a triazine acetonitrile compound. It is a new, highly effective (only 1g of this compound needs to be added per ton of feed) and low-toxicity (no poisoning phenomenon was found when the dosage was 50 times more) anticoccidial drug, and is widely used for coccidiosis in chickens. In addition, it has preventive and therapeutic effects on various types of coccidiosis and can also be used to prevent ducks, quails, turkeys, geese and rabbits from contracting coccidiosis. Diclazuril Powder is a brand-new synthetic nonionic carrier anticoccidiosis drug. The anticoccidiosis index of this product against the six major types of Eimeria in chickens is all above 180, making it a highly effective anticoccidiosis drug. It also features low toxicity, broad-spectrum, small dosage, wide safety range, no withdrawal period, no toxic side effects, no cross-resistance, and is not affected by the feed pelletizing process. This product can be added to feed for a long time and does not need to be stopped before slaughter. (Does not affect the export of broilers); It will not affect the growth and development of livestock and poultry. Diczolide has an excellent effect on chicken tenderness, coccidiosis, toxicosis, Brucellosis and Eimeria megaphylla. After application, it can not only effectively control the occurrence and death of cecal coccidiosis, but even make all the coccidiosis oocysts of diseased chickens disappear. It has a very good effect on duck coccidiosis, rabbit coccidiosis, etc. Clinical trials have shown that the control effect of diczolide on coccidiosis is superior to that of other conventionally used coccidiosis drugs and monensin plasma carrier coccidiosis drugs. For Eimeria tenuifolia resistant to (Arprinocid), chloropyridine, changsanone, oxyphenguanidine and monensin, the application of diczolizil remains effective. For instance, a feed concentration of 1mg/kg can effectively control duck coccidiosis, and its effect even exceeds that of polyether antibiotics. Feeding rabbits with 1mg/kg of the drug is highly effective against liver coccidiosis and intestinal coccidiosis in rabbits. Its drawback is that long-term use may lead to drug resistance, so it should be used alternately, for a short period of time, or in combination with other anticoccidial drugs.

Application of Diclazuril Powder

Anticoccidial drugs. It has a preventive and therapeutic effect on various coccidiosis and is used to prevent coccidiosis in chickens, ducks, quails, turkeys, geese and rabbits. Countermeasures to prevent the development of drug resistance: Due to the long-term use of an anticoccidial drug, drug resistance will occur. To avoid the development of drug resistance, shuttle and rotational medication can be adopted in the prevention plan. For the shuttle Chemicalbook drug, throughout the entire breeding cycle, one anticoccidial drug is used in the early stage and another in the later stage. Alternating medication: For chicken flocks raised throughout the year, one type of anticoccidial drug is used in the first half of the year and another in the second half. By applying these two medication methods, drug resistance can be generated or not, thereby extending the service life of the anticoccidial drugs.
