What is Thymoquinone ?
Thymoquinone is an important constituent of the Nigella sativa plant (Black seed). The plant has been used in herbal medicine for more than 2000 years, and belongs to the Ranunculaceae family of flowering plants. Thymoquinone has anti-inflammatory, anti-cancerous, and antioxidant properties. Research indicates that thymoquinone can thwart the cancerous cells in the colon, pancreases, and prostate.
