What's phenibut?
Phenibut is a synthetic derivative of GABA and a neurotransmitter. Its chemical structure is a GABA molecule with a phenyl ring. The chemical name is β-phenyl-γ-aminobutyric acid.
It was first developed in the Soviet Union in the 1960s to help astronauts relieve anxiety and sleep problems during space missions.
What is Effects of Phenibut?
1.Anti-anxiety and mood regulation
By activating GABA-B receptors, the release of excitatory neurotransmitters (such as glutamate and norepinephrine) is reduced. Overall, the overactivity of the cerebral cortex is reduced, and anxiety and tension are relieved. If GABA-B receptors are continuously activated, dopamine receptors will be downregulated, resulting in reduced sensitivity, which will eventually lead to emotional numbness and loss of pleasure, similar to the symptoms of depression.
This is often manifested in reduced tension in social situations and more fluent language expression. It can also reduce physical reactions caused by anxiety, such as palpitations, hand tremors, and excessive sweating. Fear and anger caused by negative impacts may weaken these negative emotions.
2.Improving sleeping
1)Nighttime awakening is achieved by reducing the excitability of the hypothalamus-brainstem reticular activating system and reducing the release of wakefulness-promoting neurotransmitters. This reduces sensitivity to external stimuli such as noise and light, and reduces the number of nighttime awakenings.
2) Shortening the time to fall asleep is achieved by inhibiting the excessive activity of the amygdala and prefrontal cortex. It is often manifested in anxiety-related insomnia, reducing tension or fear before falling asleep, and allowing patients to fall asleep faster.

The commonly accepted forms of phenibut include powder and tablets. At the same time, Xi'an Tongze Biological can provide OEM/ODM customized services, from raw materials to packaging, private labels, and then to tablets. We have a regular production line and can provide one-stop service.

Side effects of Phenibut
1.Addicton
If used continuously for 1-2 weeks, it will become dependent, and after withdrawal, symptoms such as anxiety, insomnia, epilepsy, etc. will appear, requiring medical intervention.
2.Overdose may cause respiratory depression, coma, and multiple organ failure. The dosage must be strictly controlled and the doctor's advice must be followed.
3.If used for a long time, it will lead to cognitive decline, emotional numbness, and worsening depression.
4.Special groups
Pregnant women, patients with liver and kidney diseases, and those with a history of mental illness are prohibited from using this product. It cannot be used in combination with alcohol or other sedatives
Recommendations for Loratadine
1.If misused, stop taking the drug immediately and seek medical attention; withdrawal reactions require professional medical monitoring (such as benzodiazepine replacement tapering).
2.If you need it, you can find a relatively safe product to replace it, such as melatonin,GABA(which can be provided by Xi'an Tongze Biological).
