Sodium hyaluronate, also known as sodium hyaluronate, is a physiologically active substance widely present in the human body. It is a high-molecular-weight linear mucopolysaccharide formed by the polymerization of disaccharide units composed of glucuronic acid and acetylhexose, with a molecular weight of 1 million. It forms a thick, viscous and elastic solution in water, with physiological pH and ionic strength. Its molecular form is variable, so a thinner injection needle can also pass through. The substance in sodium hyaluronate that does not cause inflammation is extracted and called Healon. When 10mg of this product is dissolved in 1ml of normal saline, its viscosity can be 200,000 times higher than that of aqueous humor or normal saline. Healon has a protein content of less than 0.5% and is a sterile, high-purity solution.

Matters need Attention

1.Sometimes, local eye drops may cause a sensation of irritation, a foreign body sensation, itching, congestion, and diffuse superficial keratitis. After ophthalmic surgery, if this drug remains in the eye and mixes with blood or residual lenses, it can delay absorption, cause inflammation, and lead to a temporary increase in intraocular pressure. There may be transient pain, swelling or a feeling of heat at the injection site. Allergic symptoms that may occur include: sometimes blepharitis, eyelid dermatitis, etc. may occur. Some patients may also have rashes, itching, etc. Shock, urticaria, etc. are extremely rare.

2.【 Contraindications 】 Patients allergic to this medicine, those with leg venous and lymphatic reflux disorders, patients with knee joint infections or inflammations, and those with acute joint cavity infections are contraindicated for intra-articular injection. For diabetic patients without crystals, the use of large amounts of this drug is prohibited during surgery.

3.【 Use with Caution 】 Those with a history of drug allergy, liver dysfunction or a history of liver dysfunction, the elderly, children, pregnant and lactating women.

4.When using this medicine during surgery, excessive filling should be prevented. After the surgery, the remaining liquid should be removed with a balanced salt solution as needed. This can control intraocular pressure and prevent it from rising.

5.When used for osteoarthritis, if prednisolone is added, it can relieve pain and facilitate the recovery of joint function.

6.When used in ophthalmic surgery, intraocular pressure should be closely monitored during and after the operation.

Function of Sodium Hyaluronate

1.Sodium Hyaluronate Powder is a substance that is naturally present in the human body. It is found in the highest concentrations Powder in fluids in the eyes and joints.
2. Sodium Hyaluronate Powder used as medicine is extracted from rooster combs or made by bacteria in the laboratory.
3.Sodium Hyaluronate Powder is also used as a lip filler in plastic surgery. It is also using to prevent the effects of aging.
4.Sodium Hyaluronate Powder (HA, Hyaluronic, Cyclic Acid) is a critical component of the skin that helps to retain moisture, keeping the skin firm, and preventing wrinkles by adding volume to the skin.

Application of Sodium Hyaluronate

1. Food Industry
We recommand Food Grade with the Molecular Weight 800,000Da-1,200,000Da. Sodium Hyaluronate Powder can be added into drinks, mink products, health care capsules, etc.

2. Cosmetic Industry
(1) <10,000Da (Super Low Molecular Weight):
Making Sodium Hyaluronate Powder smaller means it can reach a bit farther into skin's uppermost layers for visibly enhanced results, so it has the best effect of moisturzing and anti-aging.
(2) 10,000Da-200,000Da (Low Molecular Weight)
Sodium Hyaluronate Powder has better moisture effect than regular molecular weight.
(3) 200,000Da-1,600,000Da (Regular Molecular Weight)
Sodium Hyaluronate Powder can retain moisture, keep the skin firm, and prevent wrinkles by adding volume to the skin.
(4) >1,600,000Da (High Molecular Weight)
